We operate on a simple theory: to create change something (or more commonly: somethings) must be done. Strategy remains merely a (potentially) smart idea absent implementation. Strategy without execution is just bluster. And that’s what we all call a blowhard.
However, some people and some organizations are really good at it. It: getting things done. It: a task (big or small) completed thoughtfully and within a reasonable amount of time.
It: someone you never have to worry about completing a project assignment. It: the person you rely on when an important thing must be completed. It: an organization that considers implementing strategy as important as determining strategy.
Here’s what we’re up to: we believe the ability to get things done can be developed, honed, and shared. So we’re creating something (i.e., a book) that focuses on just that. And we’re scouring the country for healthcare delivery leaders that are masterful at getting things done. We're calling it the To Done List.
